DAY 3- Traveled from Nanjing to Wu Xi
Weather in China was darn cold on the April month. I was freezing to death especially in the morning, night and also rainy drizzling days. My hand was like a frost where the temperature was only from 10-18 celcius degree but of course its warmer during the day. I love the sun back in China when its cold. *lol*
Early in the morning, outside of the hotel
Breakfast in hotel. So-so only.
First destination of the day in Nanjing. *if you know how to read*
Visiting Chang Jiang Big Bridge
For your information, Chang Jiang or known as Yang Tze River meaning "Long River" is the longest river in Asia and third longest in the world. So, went over to visit the big bridge over there. For the purpose of visiting only. =_=
It was darn cold in here. WINDY and COLD! Crazy.
This is Mao Zedong, a Chinese communist politician and theoretician and also a leader of Chinese Communist Party
Should follow my pose. Check out the below.
Tadaaaaaa! Mao Zedong's pose. LOL!
He's like promoting the bridge. Hurm. "Welcome to China" Hahaha!
Ignore that. Next destination that we visited was quite interesting but a lil creepy in there.
Visited-
The Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre: The Forgotten Holocaust
Nanjing Massacre, also known as "The Rape of Nanjing" is a rare example of simultaneous gendercides against women and men. It is generally remembered for the invading forces barbaric treatment of Chinese women. Many thousands of them were killed after gang rape, and tens of thousands of others brutally injured and traumatized. :(( *sob*
Meanwhile, for the men, approximately a quarter of million defenseless Chinese men were rounded up as prisoners-of-war and murdered en masse, used for bayonet practice, burned and buried alive. *heartbroken* T__T
It was drizzling and raining when we were there, so... not much pictures that I took in around that place especially at the outdoor exhibition that shows the sculptures, atonement tables and memorial walkway, I just couldnt stopby and snap pictures of it.
If you really want to look on how does it look like, you might need Google to help you in that.
In case you dont know Nanjing Memorial Hall about.... Source: Wikipedia
"The Memorial Hall for Compatriots killed in the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Forces of Aggression is located in the southwestern corner of Nanjing known as Jiangdongmen, which used to be one of the execution grounds and mass burial places of the cruel holocaust.
Occupying an area about 28000 square meters with a floor space of 3000, it was built in 1985 in memory of the 300,000 victim"
The outdoor exhibits *it was raining that time and I never managed to get any pics of those exhibits. :(* all vividly represent grief and indignation, life and death. Statues, group sculptures and relief carvings stand solemnly among green pines and cypresses, together with the monument upon which is engraved the dates of the tragic events '1937.12.13 - 1938.1' while two marble walls are engraved with the name of the hall and ' 300,000 Victims '.
More interesting....
The remaining bones of victims in the massacre, which were excavated from Jiangdongmen in 1985, are exhibited in a coffin-shaped display hall. There were 208 more bones uncovered from this 'pits of tens of thousands bodies' in 1998.
Another tomb-like exhibition hall, which is buried half underground, contains over 1000 items that illustrate the terrible tragedy of Nanjing. Paintings, sculptures and illuminated display cabinets and multi-media screens as well as documentary films all contribute to this reminder of the horrendous crimes perpetrated on the Chinese people.
Check out the memorial hall.
Thousands of bodies were buried underneath.
300, 000 of innocent victims
Date of the incident, Nanjing massacre
You can choose whether to visit the site graves or not. If you're a daring person, you're welcome to visit the graves but not if you have a weak mind, you'll be adviced of not visiting the hall. Who knows that you might be followed by some of the "spirits" in it or you're trapped in the mass graves? It happens before and I heard stories about that. Still, I visited the museum for the exploring purposes.
Yea, I admit that it was creepy especially when the Chinese praying meditation music was played in the dark memorial look alike museum hall, I just walk, stop, look and read the description and ciao outside. It was heartwrenching to look at the remaining bones that were displayed in the museum; men, women and even babies' bones that I saw with the names and years beside of it. :((
We were all disallowed to make noise in there as a respect to the deaths.
The exit. Calm and peace for the deceased.
Meditation song
Peace
This place is obviously prohibited to Japanese visitors. None of the Japanese can ever visit this memorial hall or Nanjing city as Nanjing citizens are still deeply rooted with anger, sadness and hatred towards Japanese nation of their sad massacre history that killed 300, 000 innocent victims. Sigh.
It was great to know all of these history. Moreover, Nanjing is a really nice place. We then had our lunch before heading to Wu Xi, another 2-3 hours of journey, AGAIN!

Another temple which look alike a forbidden palace. LOL
Hi people. LOL
Call me Daisy Duck. Haha.
The Ling Shan Brahma Palace
Perhaps Ling Shan Brahma Palace is the most luxurious temple I ever been in my life before. Is this a 6 stars temple? Oh. My. God. This temple is crazy amazingly spacious, high class, modern and erhhhh.... expensive?! It cost hundreds of millions of dollars to build it. To be exact with the numbers, 15 million. WTF .
Surpriseeee. This is the ceiling. Damn canggih ceiling they have in there.
Can change colour somemore. LOL.
BOO!
This is the Grand Buddha at Ling Shan
This Buddha is one of the largest statues in China and also in the world! Way more gigantic than the one in HK. This Buddha totally reminds me of the Buddha, Jesus & Nabi joke. Heard about that joke before? Haha. Im not gonna share it out here. Its so entertaining but afraid that someone will be offended by the joke. Better keep it to myself or Im gonna tell you personally. *giggles*
Hey Buddha. LOL.
Heyyyy, baby Buddha, ur so cute. Turn around. =D
LOL. Warning you to do something good.
Mini sausagesss!!!

A night in Wu Xi, Hong Yun hotel.
Checked out the town when the night was still young. Too bad, the weather hasnt been good to us. It rained the whole day and on the days when we were in Wu Xi. Only in Wu Xi. Sigh.
Plus the cold weather and the rain, brrrrrrrr, freezing to the max!
Shopping malls!
Its only 7pm
O.M.G. YAOHAN?!! Almost forgot the existence of YAOHAN!
Very empty and very warm in it. Balancing the temperature. It was so darn cold outside.
:D
Got no choice but to get an umbrella. Non-stop raining.
Oh yeah. I checked the branded pricing in China. You are not adviced to get any branded items in China cuz its way more expensive than in Malaysia. Seriously. I saw a NIKE shoe and we gotta fork out another RM 100 to get a same pair of shoe in here. Same to others too. Might as well I just get it in Malaysia since there isnt much choices in China yet expensive.
In Shanghai, there were two China guys walking behind of me and I overheard their conversation. He said, "Their shoes tell me that they are Malaysians" and I was wondering why? Probably it is because of China people who dont really get any of the NIKE/ Adidas shoes for themselves? I assume that. Well, they have a variety of China brands in their own land. Not surprise. Hurmmmm.
The town.
Next post. Its gonna be a quite interesting post of places that I have visited in Wu Xi and Shanghai! Wooots!
Anyway, Im falling asick already. Cough anddd whats more? Sore throat. No good. :(
Good night.
