Maxis asked me to get an iphone4 from Digi. Terrible!!

Welcome to the world of Apple. :) says MunYee.

Actually rewarded myself something great and awesome yesterday (Saturday). It was like an advance birthday present to myself? :D Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Congratulations, Mun Yee. You have officially joined Apple group yesterday.

An Apple iphone 4! *wooooot. woooooot* I've rewarded myself an iphone4. 22 years, wait wait, chop first. Lemme count properly. *counting fingers*

Sorry, my mistake. :D Its not 22 years, it should be 21 years and 11 months of living in this planet, I have actually got myself some expensive gadget. LOL

I KNOW!! This is like.. so duhhhh that I actually bought something costs two k in my life, for the first time in the entire of my life, for like 21 years and 11 months of living?!! and FIRST TIME?!! Shame on me. Couldnt afford much exclusive/ canggih gadgets for myself. Never take up any part times also. I think I should have start, but ehhh, should be getting a permanent job next year. Sobz.

Back to the iphone4. The price is pretty cheap, but stilllll... Im just a student *sob sob* who is doing my intern now *sob sob* and the amount of the money that I hafta digged it out from my piggy bank.... *sob sob* Costs a bomb to me, but its okay and worth it to get something that I lurve and wanted it for myself.

But dont expect me to get something luxury, that is not a need in me yet, but sooner or later, who knows, probably when I've started earning pennies? ;D Thats when my career starts.

Well, I dont mind to spend on something that I really want and lurve. :)

okayyyy, I seldom pose all these kinda cutie cutie posing, but because Im in a good mood, lucky you. A picture of me posing "nicely" with my lurvley iphone4 baby!

all rite, this look much more better but is not purrrrrr-fect especially with my pimple on top of my forehead. Probably too stress in making decision whether to purchase iphone4/ bb torch. LOL. But I dont mind and I dont care, since Im in a good mood. La..la..la.. An ugly pic of me in my blog! Haha!

Im loving it

Day before: Saturday

Went over to the Gardens to check out the ticketing number on the Maxis iphone4 launch. Before purchasing it, I have a pretty much long thoughts on the iphone4 consideration, then only I've decided to head over to the ticketing counter and asked for a number.

Starting on Thursday (the day where Maxis launched the iphone4 in midnight), I double checked my confirmation booking of iphone4 in my email, and wtf, look what I updated in my FB status.

Yes. My mistake. I have actually booked the wrong timing, 2pm-6pm, Friday for the collection of my iphone4 but how can I apply for the half day leave in such a short notice? Dang. I really got a mixed feeling, aint sure Im happy or sad, but my plan was just to go with the flow. Let the God decide on whether I should save money to get some other things/ BB or just.. get the iphone4.

But its fated. God wants me to have it.

Finally my kind boy offered me and told me that he will be going to the Gardens and take the number for me since he dont have to work on Friday, and so....yea, I just accepted it since he's offering it, btw. XD

Reaching midnite at 12.24am, I've updated a furious status in my FB.

Why? Thanks to MAXIS. Lets see what had I tweeted on the same day, minutes before I've updated my furious status in my FB.

Story 1: Why am I mad over MAXIS?!

My boy went over to the Gardens and took the number for me. Fortunately, we got 4015, where the Maxis team asked him to come back in 6 hours later.

6 hours later which was 7.30pm...

I went over from my workplace and checked out at the current ticketing number; Sigh, what a long queue. Still left 400 ppl in the line. Guess that we should be back in 2-3 more hours later? We dont know.

All right, fine. So my boy and I went to had our dinner. After our dinner, we went over and checked the ticketing number again, 200s more to go. T_T

Im so tired and exhausted since I dont get adequate of rest when Im working on the last busy week. Needa rest, cant do anything more except for resting. Definitely a no-no for me to wait in Gardens until midnite just to collect my phone and what I needed the most is to get a fully rested body and mind so that I can have the energy to work and wake(at 5.30am) on the next day (Saturday).

We both then went back to our own respective home where he told me that he will then come over to the Gardens AGAIN (for the third time) in around 11.30pm just for the collection. The moment when he arrived in the hall, still left 90s more or less to go.

He then approached the Maxis team just to find out whether he can collect my iphone4 since the booking was made by me, with my name, NRIC and my number.

Thought I could actually use my iphone on the Saturday, I was so sexcited about it but Maxis somehow disappoints me and gave me a really bad bad negative services to a loyal customer like me!

I tweeted all these:

Story 2: Conversation between Maxis & Boy- Reasons why he left when he went to the Gardens for the third time

Boy: Can I ask if I can help my gf to collect her iphone4 since the booking is under her name?

Maxis: No, you cant. The booking is now registered using her name, so she should be the one who must have collected the phone on herself, or else she cant get any of the phone. We need her IC for verification.

Boy: But Im the main line user where she was previously registered under my name. She is now my supplementary line. Cant I just collect for her since her number was registered under my name.

Maxis: Im sorry. You cant collect for her. She need to come here for verification or else we cant give you the phone now.

Boy: Bro, please la.. I've been here since 3pm to take the number and now its 11.30pm. And I came here in around 8.30pm just now, waited for about 8 long hours, cant you just help me in getting an iphone for her?

Maxis: Sorry, the booking is all under her name, we seriously need her IC for verification. You cant do anything since you dont have her NRIC and we need her signature too.

Boy: Thanks..

p/s: Conversation is not 100% accurate, wrote it myself.

Just giving you guys a picture on what Maxis was trying to tell my bf, and that was it. Maxis said that I need to collect the phone myself. Note that.

But I got so furious when the Maxis are not even helpful at all.

Im not mad at not getting an iphone4 that night, but the thing that I mad was about the hours of waiting. Hello, its been 8 hours of us waited for that blardy damn phone, and we couldnt get one? Whada f is that!

Couldnt even control my hot temper in that moment cuz I got really really mad at Maxis services and so, I made a call to Maxis customer service to sought for a better solution from them.

Went over to Fb and search for Maxis profile and got their number there.

Dialled 1800 customer service line.

Story 3: Maxis asked me to get an iphone4 from DiGi- TERRIBLE!

Me: Hello. Im calling regarding tothe Maxis iphone4 launch in Gardens today, can I talk to respective person?

Maxis: Yes, I am.

Me: All right, can my friend actually help me to collect my iphone4 since I have already booked via online?

Maxis: You registered under your name?

Me: Yes. I registered under my name. Actually, I've been to the Gardens just now. My friend helped me to take number since 3pm and I went back at 8.30pm, still under waiting list. So happened to be, Im not free on that night and I asked my friend, who is my main line user went over to collect the iphone for me.

He just only been there knowing that he cant collect the phone on behalf of me. So can you all provide any other alternative solutions where I can collect my iphone4 if Im going back to the ballroom tmr? Or if I just book and leave down my contacts and collect it? Cuz Im really busy and am really unsatisfied with your services right now.

Maxis: Im sorry ma'am. The booking is registered under your name and your friend cannot collect it for you. We need your IC for verification and you need to sign on a document too to proof that you are the owner.

Me: Hmmm, all right, but is there any other solutions for me? Because I've been waiting for 8 hours, and its like a whole day already and Im not getting one of it in the end of the day. Cant you all just gimme any solutions/ priority so that I can have the phone upon my arrival the next day? For like if Im going to the Gardens tmr without taking any numbers to queue, I still can collect the iphone when I reach, is that possible?

Maxis: Im sorry, you can just come early in the morning. No matter what, you will still have to queue for it because we are giving you all the priority already. The launch is not open to public yet and Maxis are already giving priorities for Maxis users to book the phone and collect it in within these few days of launching.

Me: Okay, its not the phone that matters me much but its the hours of waiting. I've been waiting for 8 hours long and now you expect me to wait for another 8-9 hours just to collect that phone? And you want me to spend another day just for that phone? Its like a whole day man...

Maxis: I understand that.. But.. What can you do is just to come early in the morning and you can get your phone.

Me: Okay, if I come tomorrow, do I still need to take number for the queue?

Maxis: Yes. Everyone will gotta take number because Im not sure of the amount of people who booked for the collection of their iphone4 tomorrow. This wan is managed by the management, I dont even know how many people will be queue-ing tomorrow also.. So you can just come early in the morning.

Me: But Im not free in the morning. I just can come and collect in the evening and that means you want me to wait for another 8 hours more? Its like 18hours just to wait for that phone? Cant you all gimme any priority where I can just come for collection?

Its not that I dont wanna come for the collection, its just that Im busy. You see, I came over just now but there are still 200 ppl in the queue, and because I aint free, only I asked my friend to collect it for me. Cant you all just provide any other alternatives for me? 18 hours you know. If its like 2-3 hours I dont mind waiting, but now another 8 more hours.

Maxis: Yes... I understand that.....

Me: So you all still cant provide me any alternatives for me to get my phone?

Maxis: Yes, Im so sorry for that but you can just come in tomorrow. I cant do anything for you..

I was like whada f!!! What kind of services is this! DAMN IT!! Getting more and more furious.

Me: You must understand that is not the phone that I wanted it so badly, but its the HOURSSSS OF WAITINGGGGGG!!!!! And Im not getting any of the phones after 8 hours of waiting?!!!! Now you want me to wait for another 8 more hours. Thats crazy!!! Might as well I just go over to the Digi and get one from there???!!!

Maxis: Erm..... Yea.....

I LAGI PISSED OFF AFTER HEARD WHAT SHE TOLD ME!!!!

ASKING ME TO HEAD OVER TO THEIR BIGGEST COMPETITIVE AND GET THE IPHONE FROM THEM?!!!!!!!! GOD DAMN IT!!!!

Wanted to shout at that blardy fella already!!!! But, I calmly ended the call. *stupiak me!*

Me: If its like that, okay.. Thanks for the information. *sound low*

Maxis: Okieeeeee, Byeee.

p/s: Conversation might have been shorten it down and did not accurately scripted it down.

OMG!!! I cant believe it that thanked her for what she had asked me to do? DAMNNN!!!! I feel so stupid wei. Seriously. I need to bang wall already. DAMN IT!!! *bang bang bang*

Damn bengang!!! And tried to calm myself down, never ever wanna think of that stupid blardy Maxis poor services at all. Ruined my mood! Ruined my night!

Saturday

Next day right after my work at Sepang Gold Coast, headed over to Gardens and took the number only after I made a super very long decision, by myself. I thought that it would be better if I could just take the number first and decide it later whether to take or not to take the phone. :)

Before I took the number, I had a good chat with one of the Maxis team regarding on what did the Maxis operator team had told me yesterday night. Well, she was shocked to hear that from me and kind enough to apologize on behalf of Maxis to me.

I required them to send me the SMS updates for the current ticketing number and oh well, they did. Updated me at least half an hour once. :) They told me that they are already speeding up their working process. So yea, proud to say that they were kinda efficient that day.

600 ppl, and it took me only 4 hours of waiting, but of course I did not sit there waited for that phone la. I came back to the Gardens when the number is nearer to my number and when I arrived at the hall, apparently it only took in around15 minutes to wait for at least 20 ppl? Cool. Pretty fast and I was rushing for the 9.45pm movie in Tropicana City Mall as well.

source: pic taken in twitpic (first day of Maxis launch-Thurs midnite)

And yay! Finally I got my iphone4. :) And oh my lord, managed to catch up the movie with bunch of friends in Tropi City Mall too.

Knowing the next day (Sunday) that Maxis will be launching in only 5 outlets; TTDI, KLCC, Pavillion, Pyramid & Gardens, I dare not to take the risk to collect my iphone4 that day. Afraid that theres too many ppl who demanded for it and yes, bingo. Thank god I bought it on Saturday (last day of launching) in Gardens Ballroom.

My friend actually queue-ed at the TTDI outlet and I saw her tweet.
  • the earliest customer queued as early as 5am in the morning. *damn*
  • at about 9am, the queue stretches in about 7 shoplots, that long..
  • theres only 180 pieces in TTDI Maxis centre, and its out of stock now!
Heard that the Apple will be shipping in more iphone4 next week but cant guarantee when will they be shipping in here. Cant promise, so just wait la for those who wanted to get it.

a pic that I taken from her twitpic.

My goodness sick! iphone4 is totally driving everyone nutssss!!!!!! iphone is like a really femes superstar internationally and everyone is grabbing a seat for themselves upon the arrival. But at least I got mine and using it right now. Hooray!

Tested the flash & auto focus with my new babehhhhh! CLEAR!!
XD

Am totally happy with my purchase! You're earning more than a billionaire, Steve Jobs! Congratulations!

Welcome to the Apple world. ;D

The damnfuckingawesome PORK BURGER!

Finally I have changed my BLOG LAYOUT!!

I know! Its been such a long time since my old greenish layout occurred some problem with it and so, I was forced to use the temporary pinkish blog layout that I found out majority of the people are using it, and Im not happy with that layout too.

Was way too free in the past Raya holidays, lepaking and hanging out with friends, and also resting! NICEEE! Just so relaxing. And of course, get my blog a new skin for it. Yay! Changed it to a hot red blog. Ooooohh Yeahhhh! Its red!! RED! RED! RED! And its HAWWWTTTTT! XD

Title of my blog: The damnfuckingawesome PORK BURGER!

Who doesnt lurves ordering a famous fast food pork burger with fries/ wedges not forgetting your fav soft drink to quench your thirst just for a lunch of yours?

And what would happen in Malaysia if all of the fast food outlets like McD, KFC, Burger King or even Pizza Hut are all adding in and introducing a new ingredient in their menu list which known as *tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. drums roll* PORKKKKKKKKKKK!

And that would be H.E.A.V.E.N!!!

I repeat, H.E.A.V.E.N, HEAVENNNNNN!!!!

I know I sound so disrespectful to the Muslim, but it was just a dream and sigh, dream is just way too beautiful that the dream will never come true. "I never had a dream come trueeeeeeeee-S CLub 7" Dream. Everyone lurves to dream, as if you dont! Enough of my day, ooops, it should be night dreaming. Back to my burger story.

All these time, majority of the burgers that we ate are most likely to be Mc Chicken, Zinger Burger, Coney Dog, Double Cheese Burger, Ramli Special Tambah Telur Burger and what else of meats do we have instead of stuffing in the chicken and beef into our stomach?

We are missing out of something.

PORK BURGER!

How sad!!! We can only get to see and eat the oink oink burgers in the Chinese, Taiwan and HK-based cafes and restaurants like Kim Gary, Char Chan Teng and some others.

But sadly, sigh, feel so sad to mention that the pork burgers in here aint as good as those in Hong Kong. Y_Y I still remember, the moment my friends and I were searching for our dinner, first thing that came into our mind was to try the PORK BURGER in McD! ATTTTAAACCCKKKKKKK!!!!!!

Not only in HK, but I think I tried McD in those countries that I've visited before. LOL!

Cut those crap.

Im actually here to post about the PORK BURGER which I've tasted it before in a cafe located at Sri Manja.

The pork burger tasted so damnfuckingawesome that I've ever eaten before.

featured in Star newspaper in FOOD section.
:)

Google the article!
Everything can be "google-able" XD

the damnfuckingawesome PORK BURGER that I mentioned just now.

The burger is actually kinda small but it matched with the price which costs me RM 6.90 only. Swear to god I can take two of that burgers in me ended up burping out loud after enjoying the awesome pork meal.

Dont look down on it. The pork in it has some cheesy gravy that flows out from the meat into your mouth on a couple of your bites. That is just so good. Nevertheless, instead of me ordering the PORK burger that day, I ordered the PORK sausages! HAHA! Just wanna try some new stuff.

This is not that badddd! DAMNNN NICEEE also!

Like what I mentioned just now, the chessy gravy will eventually flows out from the pork meat into your mouth and mmmmmmmmmmm... NICEEE!!! Like what the headline of the article which was featured in The Star two months ago, HOOKED AT THE FIRST BITE! Oh yea baby! You're just so damn right!

Am gonna try the pork ribs/ roasted pig belly in my next visit! ;D Saw some good reviews for it too.

You're lucky that Im providing you the address. Sharing is caring! LOLLLLL!!!!

Opera @ Sunway

"Can I pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting star"
"I could really use a wish right nowww, wish right nowww, wish right now..."

WISH! How I wish to..... and how I wish too.... Sigh!

Lets not talk about wish cause it makes me joyful and full of imagination of what that cant be happened. :( Sigh.

Alan's Birthday, last minute decided to head to Opera, Pyramid to celebrate his day with him and his friends and also our friends!Just for him, all the way from Curve, spent like my whole day there from like 5 something to 11 something PM (at night, if you dont understand whats a PM stands for), and then only arrived at Opera in around 1230 am. Kinda late! :)

Purposely left my handbag in the car so that my bag wont bother me much in da club. XD And so, my camera also left in the car together with my bag. Chris was asking for my camera to take pics but left it in the car and normally I dont really take my bag along with me if I got the choice to put in my IC in someone's pocket.

Somemore parked so far, lazy to walk back to the car just for a camera. What can we do were just taking pics with camera phone, dont forget, with FLASH camera phone! Or else the pic turned up to be super damn dark! LIke that better dont need to camwhore. XD

daring Danny for a shot, and its still counting til he's wasted! XD

You wanna drink with me?! Make sure bottoms up and left aint any drips of liquor in your glass! Heard me? Not even a single drips!! :D

Lamborghini for Alan! :)

Alan's girl, Ashley, Nat and Me!

Getting more and more in love with the Glenmorangie already! ♥

The party girl, Tiff & I!

We were like:

'Cause we gon' rock this club
We gon' go all night
We gon' light it up
Like it's dynamite!
'Cause I told you once
Now I told you twice
We gon' light it up
Like it's dynamite!

Each time when we hit the club with this gang, theres only two people in the group dancing.

Me & Tiff only. How sad right? Sobz!

Not with others also we can enjoyed ourselves.

We dance together, sing together, get high together, teasing to each other, rock the club & dancefloor together, and also have fun with each other, lighting it up and make the party alive in within the gang! Common man! Thats what we call party! Dance like nobody business. Drink like nobody business. Gets high like nobody business. Drunk like nobody business! Thats how we should partaaay.

But Opera Night wasnt that cool, perhaps its because our table located right next to the counter and there were always people walking in and out of the counter especially the waiters who were trying to take coke and drinks to the clubbers. That was the most irritating part of that night. Sian.

Its like when we were dancing, there were people, not only once but like super many times who always wanted to cross over to the other end for like the WHOLLLLEEEE NIGGHHHTTT! Aaarrrghhhh!

Wanna dance also hard. Sigh. And the song so-so only but till the end, DJs only started to play those hitz songs in da club. Previously as what I recalled was those trance, electric music. Wasnt that too late to play hitz songs? I would prefer going to another club because Im more into R&B style of songs!

Leong, Chris, Jeff, Tiff & Me

part of the group.
Alan, Leong, Chris, Jeff, Tiff, Me, Ken.

Wishing every Muslims Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Maaf zahir & batin.

For the non-Muslims, enjoy ya long weekends holidays! :)

Unsatisfied & unfair life. Improved it!

Do you know what is the meaning of LIFE?

L stands for Life
I stands for Isnt
F stands for Fcuking
E stands for Easy

Yeah, thats right. Life isnt fcuking easy at all. If its easy, why is there a life for everyone? And whats the purpose of living especially during the days where people are living in an absolute monarchy country?

Take life as a war.

You need to get your weapons ready to protect yourself from the enemies who are always around you. Sometimes, you dont even realized that your best best bestest sister/ braaather/ friends/ colleagues can be your closest enemy or betrayal just because of a reason. JEALOUSY. You wouldnt know what will happen! Jealousy could lead to a murder crime and can be categorized in one of the criminal activities.

Do not be naive. Life isnt fair in EVERYWHERE and fair did not EVEN appeared in a country, society, and worst in a family. How could it be a family where you are staying with your closest relations where you and the rest of them are sharing the same blood together?

If there is justice in a family, why would every of the children are complaining that "Mei/ Di always get the coolest gadgets in the market but not me. Pa is always unfair. Always get it for her but not me."

Or is this scene could sound familiar to you? "Last time Mummy always caned me when my results are bad, but now, you are considered good enough for being ONLY scolded by Mummy."

See, life isnt as fair as what you've always thought to be.

It is all around you but its just that you dont realized how life is so not awesome and perfect at all when there are brainwashing activities catered to a group of innocent people who believes that the lies are the truth causing chaos in the country. Wake up people! WAKE UP!

Why do we chose to stay in an authoritarian world instead of a liberal? Oh yea, I forgot, people always have in their mind that liberalism is what we practiced everyday since after the World War II, but hell yea, dont you think we a aint living in a democratic society where people actually do not have the chances to express themselves through the speeches or new media?

What the hell is going??! Is it wrong that if I just blogged about my dissatisfaction over a thing that my boss wouldnt love to know and the next day, thanks and congratulate to myself that I am being FIRED because of my written materials in my blog?

Yes. It is SOOOOOOO wrong because probably they are so "perasan" and "terasa" that we are actually making a bad statement about them. Perhaps, if they got the money and or a troublemaker, they would just called up a lawyer and file a defamation suit on me that I am actually damaging its' reputation in the society by making a false statement.

Cant they just take it as a problem and try to solved it until IT IS SOLVED and would not be highlighted in the press as a current issue?

Press have the power over everything. Influence. Persuade. Brainwash.

I thought press should be fair enough but oh yea, I mentioned that unfair is all around you. Yes it is.

Even there COULD be some press which are targeted to a group of people who have similar thoughts and the purpose is just only one. BRAINWASH. BRAINWASH. and keep on BRAINWASHING and their intention is just only one. Shall not revealed it out.

I urged everyone to wake up before people started to take their weapons out, shooting, stabbing, killing and bombing at each other without knowing any of the stories behind the scenes and start educating the authorities of whats right and wrong. Bring them back to the kindergarten and learn from the basics!

For someone who are born to be a good speaker, it was a gift from God. Please appreciate that.

And they must understand that not everyone can be like them. Everyone should understand that people is differ from each other. From life to cultures to norms to societies to families and to self characteristics.

If you are a food lover who are choosing a girlfriend in between two girls but one have the ability to cook but one does not, why do you wanna make a comparison in between both of them? You are just creating a hatred, problems, anger and stressful situation for the one who does not have the ability in cooking. Unfair. Life is always unfair even in relationship. Gosh.

Where are all the brains people???!! Is it situated at your butt? NOOO! God created every human with only a brain, cant we just fully utilized it and think logically of what is happening to the world, country, society, family and importantly your ownself.

THINKKKKK!!!!! Think people!!! Use your brain to think, people!!

Everyone is different and has different capabilities. Or else? Are you expecting everyone could be like you? Do not ever think that you are a super awesome dude/ chick who knows exactly everything in around the world and judge a book by its cover.

Common. People who are used to be your favourite or people who are always remained and categorized under the "Always Fav" person that I have ever had in my life can be placed to the top always in your heart. Unfair again.

Every places, norms, societies, politics, formats have its own ways of doing it thing. Of course, obviously and definitely we need to learn so that we are familiar with the system, but once they put higher expectation on people but they failed to performed, it is not their fault where the inexperienced people were being pointed with a machine gun by the authorities over a small thing and those people ended up lying in a coffin or bleeding profusely.

Where is the equality??? Are we practicing an egalitarian system?!!!

People said that watch out those roses with pricks. They have the physical beauty but evil in the heart and stupid inside. Is that how you judge someone? The answer is no. Some of the roses have the beauty and their own intelligent as well. Look at Angelina Jolie who are adopting children and now spotted her flying to Pakistan for the flood victims. Lesson. Do not judge its book by its cover.

Day isnt young for me anymore. What a random sentence, Getting a backache and sleeping soon.

Be confident and have faith in yourself. Control your emotion and do not ever let your emotion controls you. Learn on the emotional intelligence. Learn on failure, confirm with succes. Once you got it, you are a better person tomorrow.

Some thing might be harsh for you, take it as a criticism and try to improve yourself from it. You must give it a try. Winners never quit and quitters never win. Win without boasting, lose without excuses.

My own quote of the day:

If only everyone realized and understand how the other party feels about, life is totally perfect.

Oh gawwd! Im actually writing a super long post which directs to noone.

Back-aching!

munyee says good night!

I'M NOT AN ANGRY MALAYSIAN

Author: To be known as Pilaks OnFire

Im sharing the note that my friend wrote and shared it in the FB.

It's a long note, but if u could spare 5 mins of your day to read it, you could probably be changing your thoughts about 1 Malaysia! Find a better way to united, not labeling. ♥ have a nice day ya'll!

Bless all who are reading this.

Let me begin by highlighting that I am a regular chinese boy born and bred in Malaysia.
RACE=Chinese
NATIONALITY=MALAYSIAN

What sparked this short writing is the increasing number of Facebook posts of malicious and angry status updates venting out their anger and frustrations towards the racial tensions. What began with a headmistress's comments, on to how people were arrested, and finally a note on how an individual was attacked by a group of teen-aged boys, has clearly sparked a more angry generation of young people.

I would like be begin by saying i believe that Unity and Peace is achievable alongside Equality and Democracy. OK! So what now? Unity, Peace, Equality, Democracy... WOOO OoOoOooo... Big Words huh... Coming from a small boy. OK! I ask you again, You want it? How bad do you want it? If you tell me, I really want it, I hate to see racial tension among Malaysian. Then my friend. You are in the same boat as me. If you are on the other boat going, OH YES. Racial tension is getting out of hand. I hate this. I hate that. I hate this party doing this, i hate them for doing that. Then my friend, my fellow Malaysian, You need to re-evaluate your position.

Allow me to quote a friend's status that sparked a long comment following his status update. What started with 4 comments eventually led to a bigger number thanks to yours truly. HAHA! Sorry dude. but i felt it was necessary to highlight this in the midst of racial attacks on Facebook. He said this, "seriously, i'm aint going to tell others i'm come from Malaysia. This country's stupidity racist problem is totally embarrassing. Especially those p***** and uneducated *************** pigs!! F**K THIS IDIOTIC COUNTRY!!" Words censored to prevent further conflicts.

Subsequently, it really pierced my heart to know that someone from my generation is equally as angry as those who are already fighting and trading lightsaber comments with their tongues. If the chinese are also as angry, when can the problem be fixed? We have to clear our hearts, clear our conscience, then think of a feasible solution. Don't point fingers instead, start from ourselves. Then a small community within ourselves will already be peaceful. So much for the cries of an individual saying, This sucks, this is not working, I hate this, I hate that. Then someone else reads that and says, "Oh yeah! This sucks, This is not right, and so on, that ripple effect with continue to affect others within his network. As in the case of Facebook. The story of the two gentlemen who were attacked was forwarded and shared by many of my own friends. It was easy to find that article, just open my news feed, scroll down, and i will guarantee myself a 'confirmed find' of the article. That is how active that article is currently being circulated.

With all due respect to the gentlemen that wrote that article, I believe you are currently very angry and frustrated with the actions of those young men. And i respect that. Someone very close to me has been a victim of a snatch theft before and by God i swear, if i see those men again, i will drag them to the police station by their hair. But notice i never mentioned of what race those men were. Because i feel it not necessary to highlight the race amidst the racial tension we are currently having. I am not taking sides and i acknowledge your frustrations, if i were to be attacked, i would be very bitter as well. Also in his article, he did not spark a racial fire as well. he lets the reader come to their own conclusion. If you read to the end, the author did not slander or criticize anyone yet pleads for the article to fall on the right ears. Dear Mr. Lau. I thank you for not being one of them who openly release nasty remarks. Your article is also an inspiration for me to be a better Malaysian.

Secondly, Gandhi said "An eye for an eye only makes the world go blind". In the end, Gandhi won with his peaceful ways. He never once raised a finger to point out who was at fault. Yet he won Independence for his country. Malaysia 40 years ago is very different from today, so we need new ways to fix the problem. And guess what? Those new solutions are gonna come from US. If we, the younger generation is already so angry, what can happen to the future? Another May 13 perhaps? I have a lot of malay friends. None of us are fighting with each other. It is only the previous generations who are fighting. and pity the younger ones today who are being swept alongside it as in the case of the Merdeka Eve attack. And I have to emphasize 'SWEPT' into the current conditions. The younger generation's mind is innocent. Do not blame them for being aggressive. If you noticed, those in riots, or simply in the case of Mr. Lau, "They looked like typical youths, giggling and talking to each other." For all you know, it was only ignorance and for the mere thrill of laying that smackdown at people's expense. I do not condone these acts of violence, I resent it but my main point is, they are the VICTIMS of the current racial tensions. Yes, they caused harm but their innocent minds were tarnished by certain parties. What did they yell? They yelled "Baliklah ke negara asal". Which were the words of their senior. NOT THEM. There are still people like us, who are peaceful that can make peaceful changes. Don't fuel the racial tension. Don't take sides but be the neutral one whom one day can change a better Malaysia.

It starts from one place. It starts from the heart. The brain control emotions but the heart tells you what is right. Yes I was angry when I saw certain parties making unfair remarks, but my heart tells me its ok, I can make a change by not blowing the fire and create a better community myself within my network. I am privileged to have friends who side me on this. In terms of racial issues, I don't really have a problem with it because I choose to see the better side of people. Our Father of Independence chose to see the better parts in people. IT was through that way that he achieved independence for us. Words alone cannot show how much our forefathers have sacrificed for us. But they did it in ways that allowed us to see that there is a brighter future at the end of the road. Of course, you can argue that OH! You are stating what we can reach but it is impossible.

My friend said "For us, we're damn helpless! I wish i could stop these racism thoughts as well but what's in reality is TOTALLY DIFFERENT." Reality and Fantasy, my friends, is what we choose to derive from our mentality. Before Merdeka, our pahlawans thought freedom was a fantasy. In the end? Where are we today? We came a long way to freedom. Freedom is today a REALITY. What was initially a thought of fantasy is today a reality. So? If that was achievable, what about Unity, Peace, Equality and Democracy? When i was unfortunately swept in to the current of political agendas some time back, I totally stood on the side of the party that screamed CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE! Until the words of my wise old man said this, "Oppressed? Are you oppressed today? You got curfew cannot go out after 10 meh? and I subsequently came out with my own thoughts. Do I pay petrol RM2 while others pay RM1? Do i get less sambal from the makcik as compared to the malay man buying beside me? NO! I am not oppressed. I can go to 1U and sit beside a Malay family and eat. I can go mamak and order the same thing the malay family is eating beside me. I am not oppressed. I am still a free Malaysian. Of course, I cannot say things that can insult the government. So you cry, We're not free! We do not have Freedom Of Speech! But bear in mind, even for the Americans, the First Amendment that guarantees Freedom of Speech comes with a clause. Some of them being you cannot incite anger and the one that is most prominent is that you cannot say anything bad against the government. So if you cry Freedom of Speech, you still cannot say anything bad about the government.

Think about it my friends, before we start pointing fingers, we have to think what caused those problems. Look further and think, what can I do to change this? Instead of pointing fingers and labelling, we have to start to search for compassion and speak peace. When we speak peace, there will be less tensions and before u know it, Unity and Equality is something possible. If we would continue being angry and believing that unity and equality is not possible, I invite you to sit at a mamak, and smile to the malay family beside you. If we can do that, I GUARANTEE YOU. With 101% of my life, you are already starting to create that dream. I'm not preaching BIG dreams like, Malaysia shud be this that this that. But I'm saying it starts from us, the generation that will take over tomorrow. Start with small practical gestures. go smile at someone. You already changed that persons life. And when our generation takes the baton, you smile back at the younger generations. That younger generation will already be affected by the uncle that smiled at them.

I hope that beneath your anger, you can find that peace within and see the bigger picture of peace and unity. We are more united in many ways than you think. We only see that bad parts because the media portrays the bad parts. See the good part. Go buy nasi lemak from the makcik and say terima kasih from the bottom of ur heart. Go buy cendol from the aneh at the cendol truck. We are already united. I believe that makcik didn't throw back the sambal at you and ask you go back China rite? Of course, some people will be rude to you because they are so busy or even overcharge you. But look at the uncle selling chap fan. He can be bad also... Its all over but we choose to generalize. I have my own faults as well. I see a heavily modified Kancil that is ugly and loud. I also say OMG! Confirm Malay. But I do not post it on Facebook, A !@*(#&)%^ MALAY DUDE'S KANCIL IS SO LOUD..... NO! I do not do that. I may have malicious thoughts but it merely comes and goes and does not hurt anyone.

If we believe it is not possible, I'm afraid we're only pushing that dream further from ourselves. SOME OF THEM are provoking fights. NOT ALL! If we fight anger with anger, I really don't know when this whole agenda will end. Start small. Go smile at someone and remove malicious racial thoughts. WE are already making a difference.

Conclusively, I am not an angry Malaysian. I do not wish to see the younger generation swept into the current wave of racial tension and end up being bitter and generalizing everyone. I only learnt this in the later part of my student life. I am currently enrolled in an American university and back for the summer holidays. Unfortunately, my 2 months back home is ending in a matter of days and I really dread to go back. Because the one thing that I learnt there was, I AM A MALAYSIAN IN AND OUT, LEFT AND RIGHT, FRONT AND BACK AND UP AND DOWN. Nothing is going to change that. When I was there and sadly, still have to return back there, I realized OMG! Home is Malaysia and Malaysia is home for me. Do not for once say you are not a Malaysian. Because once you are away, You never know what you miss until you miss it. And when I was away, the only thing I ever wanted more was to be back home. I am proud to be Malaysian and I hope this article will encourage you to see the same thing.

God bless you all. TQ.

Well said. We're the future. And try to make a change towards a better generation and a better tomorrow. Do not play the blaming game. It isnt working anyway.

And please spread the love by sharing it to your friends, as much as possible.
